Penny Hydraulics highlights vehicle mounted load handling at CV Show 2011

Penny Hydraulics highlights its full range of vehicle mounted load handling capabilities, including an innovative combination for the new Volkswagen Amarok, at CV Show 2011. The company designs and manufactures vehicle mounted cranes with maximum working loads up to 2000kg and side and rear mounted platform lifts with maximum working loads up to 500kg. These can be installed on a wide range of commercial vehicles to help operators to do their work more easily, efficiently and safely without any need for manual lifting or handling.

Four demonstration vehicles will be featured on the company's stand. These will include a Renault Master van, Nissan Cabstar and a Volkswagen Transporter equipped with a representative selection of Penny Hydraulics products. The company has Accredited Converter status with Renault Commercial Vehicles, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and Nissan Commercial Vehicles in the UK. This allows the company to install its equipment on vehicles direct from these manufacturers without any additional delay for the customer. The process ensures a seamless, speedy conversion finished to exacting quality standards set by the OEM.

The final vehicle will be the new Volkswagen Amarok pick-up. This will be fitted with a compact Swing Lift crane and an Easy Loader tail lift, both designed and manufactured in the UK by Penny Hydraulics, to highlight the versatile and powerful load handling options available to operators. Penny Hydraulics is the first company in the UK to showcase the new vehicle with load handling conversion.

Also featured at CV Show will be the Penny Hydraulics Mezz Lift. This robust and versatile platform lift can handle all sorts of loads up to 500kg between floors, including mezzanines. It allows an entire handling process to be undertaken by a single person without any manual lifting. Many users specify the device to support the addition of a mezzanine floor to create more overhead storage and free up space at ground level for more productive applications. Each Mezz Lift is bespoke and built to suit the specific customer's requirements and individual location. Robust construction ensures the unit can be installed indoors or outdoors for reliable and productive use. Specialist products based on the Mezz Lift concept include models for handling wheels, tyres and general items in depots and workshops as well as high street retail outlets.
