TouchStar Technologies help Alan R Jones achieve total stock and delivery transparency

TouchStar Technologies, provider of Enterprise Mobile Computing Solutions to the warehousing and logistics markets, has announced today that Alan R Jones, the multi award winning pallet delivery and logistics service provider, have rolled out their SX-300 mobile data capture devices which will be used as part of their digital signature capture solution.
Alan R Jones provides multi award-winning delivery and logistics services, both in the UK and Europe. A family run business, they offer precision logistics solutions offering cross-region palletised delivery, 20,000sq.ft. warehousing and bespoke logistics services such as stock control; container de-stuffing; full supply-chain distribution management and digital signature capture.
The recent rollout has seen TouchStar's SX300 devices integrate with Palletline's Digital Signature Capture solution providing Alan R Jones with instantaneous proof of delivery for their customers. In addition, the SX-300's fully integrated camera capability has allowed Alan R Jones to record and document discrepancies helping achieve total transparency of stock and delivery status.
Following a successful implementation, Alan R Jones now have access to advanced, flexible and future proofed functionality. GPS enabled, the SX-300 will enable Alan R Jones with the capability of tracking the devices and vehicles to further validate the digital signature. The inclusion of fully integrated barcode scanning provides further future proofing for any changes to requirements.
