Adrian Driffill to head-up Spatial Global’s Logistics division

Spatial Global Limited, the Castle Donington, UK-based worldwide delivery specialist, has promoted 53-year-old Adrian Driffill to the position of Logistics Manager of its Spatial Logistics division. The appointment is effective today. The previous incumbent, Quinten Evans, has returned to his full-time role as IT Manager for Spatial Global.

Adrian Driffill has been a logistics professional for some 30 years and originally worked for Spatial from 2001 to 2008 as a logistics supervisor. He rejoined the business in 2011 as Warehouse Supervisor, after gaining further experience at freight specialist HEA Group (Heavyweight Air Express), also in Castle Donington.

Adrian’s career began in 1976 in the Grenadier Guards, where he became a physical training instructor. He has also run his own packing and distribution business between 1995 and 2001.

Bryan Hindle, Managing Director of Spatial Global, commented: "Adrian’s appointment is an essential part of the continuing development and growth of our four principal products: Spatial Freight, Spatial Mail, Spatial Courier and Spatial Logistics. I am sure that his experience of managing multiple warehouse facilities and pick and pack operations will prove invaluable to the successful development of the logistics business."

Adrian Driffill added: "I am really pleased to be back at Spatial Global, and have enjoyed the past three years with the company. However, I am now looking forward to the added responsibilities and daily challenges that managing the logistics team will bring."

Adrian is a passionate football player and is a former semi-professional footballer. Describing himself as a competitive sports fanatic, he also enjoys golf, badminton, tennis, cycling and running.
