A&T Transport, the Belfast and Dublin based distribution specialists have added two Krone Profi Liner curtainsiders to their fleet which, say the company, will bring additional security and ease of loading to the operation.
The Profi Liners will join A&T Transport’s groupage and airfreight services which span Ireland, the UK and Europe. With sliding roofs, the trailers are ideal for loading odd-sized cargo and the Krone Multi Lock load securing system, with up to 130 lashing points on either side rave, allows multiple strapping to ensure safe and secure loading along the entire trailer bed.
“Our operation has a reputation built on high service standards” says Co-Director Trevor Roy. “We move a significant amount of mixed cargo by air road and sea and it’s important that the trailer transport element is a strong link in the chain. The flexibility provided by the Multi Lock strapping is a benefit in terms of security as well as enabling us to make full use of load space – quickly and safely every time.”
“Furthermore,” adds Trevor Roy “the straps can be attached and removed by the driver from inside the closed curtain which is an additional health and safety benefit.”
A&T Transport was established in 2011 by Trevor Roy and his partner Andrew Bruton, who have over 30 years transport industry experience. The company operates a mixed fleet of 10 trucks and 15 vans and provides a wide range of services from single same-day packages to multiple pallets by air, sea or road.
“Krone trailers have a good reputation for reliability” concludes Trevor “but in case of any issues, we have a good back up service for repairs and maintenance which is provided by Fleet Solutions. Should we need to order trailer parts, we can do so using Krone’s online parts shop.”
