Capita ensures safe delivery

for National Health Service surveys through APC Overnight

Capita Health Service Partners, Survey and Research Unit, has appointed APC Overnight to provide rapid and safe deliveries for National Health Service surveys. The largest UK-wide parcel network enables cost-effective, flexible services to the Survey and Research Unit's clients throughout the British Isles. With online end-to-end tracking and electronic Proof of Delivery, the Unit is confident that parcels can be traced throughout the delivery process, which is extremely important as clients are often based on large hospital sites.

“Before selecting APC Overnight's local depot, APC Able Services, we used several different companies. We now have a cost-effective single point of contact and much greater flexibility as the local depot understands our time-delivered service requirements for staff surveys, reports, CDs and DVDs to over 165 different clients,” said Aimi Blueman, Deputy Head of Surveys and Research, Capita Health Service Partners, Survey and Research Unit.

“Sometimes we have to delay collection or arrange special pick-ups and this is never too much trouble – even when faced with 250,000 staff surveys going out to 165 different organisations in a short space of time,” concludes Blueman.
