On Thursday 26th November logistics and transport personnel, together with those who write or research on the subject, are being given the opportunity to visit the Corby headquarters of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK (CILT) and to learn about the range of information resources available to them to support their work and study.
The event will provide both members and non-members of CILT with an insight into how the unique facilities of the Institute’s Knowledge Centre and Webshop can provide one-stop comprehensive information, data and sources of material which will save managers and others time and money.
This open day will be particularly attractive and useful to logistics and transport academics, researchers and students; transport and environmental journalists; and corporate managers and other personnel responsible for researching or taking strategic policy decisions;

The Business Intelligence Unit – how it can support research and study
World Newspapers today – a database of over 800 newspapers
Corporate Business Review – a database that contains information on over 3.5 million companies in the UK
Speakers will include the CILT Knowledge Centre Manager Peter Huggins and Webshop and Knowledge Centre Senior Executive Lynn Mentiply.
