Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies announces appointment of Bernd Lipp as Vice President, Marketing and Engineering

The vital role covers all of the Climate Control Technologies business units including Transport (Truck & trailer refrigeration, bus and rail HVAC), Marine and Retail Solutions.

The new position will see Lipp responsible for the Marketing, Development and promotion of Thermo King, Koxka, Kobol and Hussman products to Europe, in order to help build market share and successfully launch new products.

Lipp has a wealth of knowledge and experience of the business, as he has worked for Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies for 12 years, within the fields of engineering, product management, marketing and sales. He formerly held the position of Director of Engineering for two years.

Within his new role Lipp will report directly to Ray Pittard, President of Climate Control Technologies for Europe.

Commenting on his new position, Bernd Lipp said: "I am delighted to be given the opportunity to continue to build and develop the business for our highly successful brands within Europe. I look forward to the challenge of establishing a common strategy and processes to align the marketing and engineering functions in order to drive growth for the business.

"Other key elements within my role will be to deliver faster product introductions and to meet competitive cost targets within the current challenging industry climate."
