ipostparcels has announced a new ‘Depot to Depot’ service which aims to provide a cost effective and convenient solution for consumers and SME’s to send and receive parcels.
ipostparcels ‘Depot to Depot’ initiative has been launched to enhance the company’s existing parcel collection and delivery services and is set to integrate into the modern lifestyles of consumers. The ‘Depot to Depot’ service gives customers the opportunity to drop a parcel at their local depot, and allows the recipient to collect the parcel from a designated depot convenient to them the following day.
With 55 participating depots located throughout the UK, ipostparcels ‘Depot to Depot’ service provides consumers and SME’s with a convenient and extremely cost effective solution to deliver parcels, as prices start from £1.99 (excluding VAT). The fully operational service can be accessed via ipostparcels.com, where customers can simply choose their local depot, select the date for the drop off and then opt for the ‘Depot to Depot’ service. The initiative is inclusive of small to XXL parcels, and the recipient will receive a notification once the parcel has been shipped, advising them of the chosen destination depot and the date the parcel will be available for collection.
Of the new service Ros Hunt, Marketing Director said: ”This is an extension of our ‘Drop at Depot’ initiative which is used regularly by a third of our customers. Following a customer feedback session, we decided to offer a more comprehensive ‘Depot to Depot’ service and expand upon the savings that our customers can achieve”. She continued ”We have already established drop off points that our customers are able to utilise, so the foundations were already in place”.
