Navman Wireless has appointed a specialist to liaise between fleet operators and R&D technicians to ensure technical developments meet the exacting requirements of businesses.
Haydon Davis, who joins the UK’s largest provider of vehicle tracking as a dedicated Technical & Pre-Sales Executive, will input into developments ranging from engine management solutions to legislative compliance reports.
"Business requirements have always steered Navman Wireless’s industry advancements and I will endeavour to further strengthen the information exchange between fleet managers and those developing the next wave of cutting edge technologies," he said.
The role will also see Haydon liaise with businesses that have specific technical requirements and help devise solutions that will ensure Navman Wireless’s vehicle tracking system meets their individual needs.
"We are seeing an increasing demand for integrated business technologies," said Steve Blackburn, Navman Wireless’s European Vice President.
"Companies are increasingly looking to streamline their business IT infrastructure and with Haydon on board, we have never been in a better position to help support and facilitate this. His knowledge and wealth of industry experience will prove a valuable addition to our team."
Haydon has worked in the vehicle tracking industry for more than a decade. Previous roles include management positions with Thales, Pentica Systems, IMC and Orchid Technology.
