New contracts deliver another healthy year for ByBox

Leading supply chain solutions specialist ByBox is ending the year on a high with a clutch of new contracts.

ByBox has chalked up six new wins in recent weeks, cementing its position as the market leader for pre-8am deliveries across the UK, as well as investing in new technology to further expand the services it offers.

Among the new contracts is Sunwin Services, part of United Cooperatives, who specialise in repairing, replacing and installing electronic point of sale (EPOS) units, like tills and stock recording systems. Its team of 22 engineers across the Midlands and northern England are utilising ByBox's network of drop boxes and standard pre-8am delivery guarantee to receive and return essential parts to complete appointments.

Montal Computer Services supplies IT hardware, software and service packages to businesses and consumers. To ensure its engineers have the right components for the right job, they needed a reliable supply chain solution so make use of ByBox's lockbox network and pre-10am-to-site service. This allows parts to be delivered directly to site for on-site fixes.

Also enjoying the benefits of ByBox's expertise in serving the technology sector is QCom. The company offers outsourced technology support, in particular fixing and maintaining printers around the UK. Again, operatives benefit from the smooth delivery and return of parts through ByBox's network of drop boxes across the UK.

Refreshment Systems is the largest independent beverage specialist in the north of England. It has eight engineers to serve clients, ensuring minimum downtime for dispensing machines so a reliable supply chain for parts and stock is essential. With its number of engineers expected to double in the next quarter, Refreshment Systems is relying on ByBox to provide a solid, dependable supply chain service via electronic dropbox.

Established in Warrington in 2001. Totis is an independent company founded to provide computer spare parts to IT maintenance organisations. It is a main supplier of components to Computaland, with ByBox collecting items from the TOTIS warehouse and utilising the dropbox network to get them to engineers in the relevant areas.

Working with Late Night Fun, ByBox has been able to ensure that the gaming and leisure/beauty equipment expert keeps its machines working and fully stocked. It supplies everything from punch bag machines to hair straighteners in popular pubs and clubs throughout the UK. ByBox enables operatives to have access to spares at drop boxes and see stocks regularly replenished without the need to wait around for a delivery driver to arrive.

Mark Garritt, European MD, ByBox, said: “We are delighted to welcome these new companies to our network.

“The breadth of experience and the investment we have made over the past 12 months means that more than ever before we can tailor our services to the specific needs of the client.

“In a difficult economic environment, working closely with our customers to ensure the services we offer fit their needs is more important than ever before and is keeping us on the crest of the wave.”

ByBox is unique in having more than 18,000 secure drop boxes at over 1,200 locations around the UK.
