New General manager for Palletways London

Ken Bromage has been appointed as the new General Manager of Palletways London and the Southern Hub, which is part of the Palletways Group, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network.

Ken brings with him a wealth of commercial and operational expertise from Federal Express where he spent over 25 years in a variety of roles. He also has considerable experience of domestic and international distribution.

Andy Turner, Palletways UK Owned Operations’ managing director, said: "We are delighted to welcome Ken to Palletways. We have growth plans for London and the Southern Hub and know he has the flair and expertise to help us to achieve great results."

About his appointment, Ken Bromage, said: "It is very exciting to be part of Palletways and I have received a warm welcome from the team. I’m keen to implement some new strategies and examples of best practice to further enhance our commitment to providing the highest standards of customer service and achieve continued growth."

The Palletways Group is made up of over 300 depots and ten hub operations, through which it provides collection and distribution services across 11 European countries, including the UK. The company’s distribution networks are made up of independent transport companies who share each other’s resources to deliver small consignments of palletised freight to market faster and more cost effectively than ever before.
