New technologies launch at Maintec

Maintec will open its doors on 11 to 13 March at Birmingham’s NEC. The leading event for the maintenance, plant and asset management industry has quickly gathered pace with leading exhibitors using the show to launch its latest innovations and technologies.

IRISS (Stand M6E) will be exhibiting its new range of permanent electrical safety device products. These are unique, thermal imaging inspection windows, allowing a complete visual and infrared scan of busbar joints under load.

FLIR Systems (Stand M7F) will be launching its FLIR Ex and Exx Series thermal imaging cameras. The FLIR Ex Series is an entry-level model, providing a highly cost efficient gateway to thermal imaging. The FLIR Exx Series is more advanced and is thermally tuneable with a manual lens focus.

Hansford Sensors (Stand M9E) will be showcasing its new vibration monitoring products including its premium industrial accelerometers and its 4-20mA transmitters, or loop powered sensors, plus the new M12 cable assemblies with protective conduits and snap on quick release cables.

Keytracker (Stand M1B) will be exhibiting iLockerz, a global first for the engineering and maintenance industry. The ground breaking RFiD technology allows handheld data terminals, tablets, tools and lifting equipment to be secured, tracked and monitored automatically.

Shire Systems (Stand M11E) will be launching its latest product, Pirana Mobile PRO, which is a powerful handheld application for processing work orders and stock control either on or offline.

Idhammar Systems (Stand M10G) are revealing its new mobile Maintenance Management System: ‘Pocket MMS’ which simplifies maintenance engineers roles. It is compatible with iPad and android tablets, allocating work to individual engineers via their device wherever they are working.

Rebo Systems (Stand M12G) will introduce its Toro and Lobo ranges of industrial quality sign and labelling machines, which are ideal for working in areas where there is often no power available.

eMaint (Stand M5G) will use Maintec to showcase its mobile Computerised Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) solution.

Alrad Imaging (Stand M5B) will be showcasing its Hindsight 20/20CAM multi camera capability, allowing an entire production line to be monitored. With up to 10,000 images captured per second, it continues to record live events on the production floor, even when the video is being reviewed.

Acutest (Stand M2Fa) will be displaying its MacroTest G3 multimedia tool which makes it easier to carry out safety tests on both domestic and industrial systems. The THT40 Infrared Camera, a hand-held infrared camera inside a rugged, ergonomic shock-resistant case will also be exhibited.

First time exhibitor Matthews Engineering Training (Stand M14Ga) will be displaying its Boiler Inspector Certificate Programme, providing comprehensive and independent training.

Fluke (UK) (Stand M5F) will be showcasing its wide range of rugged and reliable portable test instruments suited for maintenance applications.
KDP Electronic Systems (KDPES) (Stand M6C) will be exhibiting its cabling and integration systems, including the AS-6600, a battery operated, portable instrument designed to simulate the electrical output signals generated by many commonly available vibration transducers.

Probe Technical Recruitment (Stand M23G) will be running two candidate clinics together with a Job Shop. At the CV Clinics visitors can sit with an experienced consultant to review their own CV while the Interview Tips Clinic will give visitors guidance and advice.

Grundon Waste Management (Stand M8G) will be outlining how its service capability is being increased through Hazpack 6000, a state of the art recycling facility for aerosols. Able to handle 9,000 aerosols per hour it is the world’s most advanced closed loop aerosol recycling system.

Lobo Systems (Stand M17E) will be showcasing its platform scaffold products. These combine the flexibility and strength of traditional scaffolding with the simplicity and mobility of tower systems.

R-Tek (Stand M15E) will be exhibiting its range of interlocking floor tiles providing a competitive and versatile flooring system with multiple applications.

Newson Gale (Stand M19H) will be offering a wide range of static grounding and bonding equipment, providing optimum safety in explosive and hazardous environments. There will be particular focus its Earth-Rite® Static Earth Monitoring & Interlock Systems.

In addition to a full exhibition, Maintec, which is the leading UK event for the maintenance, plant and asset management industry, will also feature a practical seminar programme called The Exchange and The Business Strategy Forum which tackles the hot topics and challenges within the industry.
