Teams from differing organisations gathered to support various charities in the Robin Hood Festival of Running, a sponsored half marathon relay organised by Experian.
Teams of five from various organisations co-operated to cover a half marathon by relay, where each runner completed 2.6 miles. A prize was awarded to the team which raised the most funds. The charities that the event aimed to assist included CLIC Sargent, who care for children with cancer, and Headway, who assist those with brain injuries. Also the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund, which provides services that enhance the quality of life for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families.
Pall-Ex entered a team of 5 members of staff for the event, raising £285 in sponsorship, and this charitable support echoes the company support driven by Founder and Managing Director Hilary Devey. Hilary was also recently awarded Patronage of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers. To find out more about Hilary Devey or Pall-Ex visit www.pallex.com .
