Sencon is one of the market leaders of control and quality solutions for the packaging industry, so once the decision had been made to relocate to a new purpose designed premises, storage carousel experts AMH Services were contacted to provide a cost-effective and viable solution to provide and implement a parts storage solution within the new facility.
Following a detailed site survey, and customer stock analysis, AMH calculated that by using vertical storage carousels, Sencon could reduce the space occupied by conventional racking by in excess of 80%. With rising warehouse rents, space is becoming even more of a premium than ever, and by utilizing the interior height of a building, you eliminate the "paying for fresh air" syndrome associated with conventional racking. To increase the savings further, by opting for AMH reconditioned units a 50% saving was achieved when compared to new units.
