Talent in Logistics Awards 2017 Finalists announced

The shortlisted finalists for the Talent in Logistics Awards, the only event dedicated to recognising and rewarding the people who train, lead and inspire front line teams in the transport and logistics industry, are announced.

Those shortlisted for the Talent in Logistics Awards, which highlight the importance of excellence in training, learning and development, include managers, instructors, trainers and apprentices from training providers, in-house training departments, and organisations, both large and small, across the supply chain. Individuals and teams from several well-known companies, including Tesco, Royal Mail, XPO Logistics and John Lewis Partnership, are among the finalists.

Finalists have been selected by a panel of industry experts, including event media partners SHD Logistics, Transport Operator, Health and Safety at Work and Training Journal, and representatives from the CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport), RHA (Road Haulage Association), FLTA (Fork Lift Truck Association), Women in Logistics and charity Transaid.

The Talent in Logistics Awards take place on 22nd June 2017 in the West Midlands, and will celebrate the unique skills and achievements of the people that keep the logistics sector, and the country, running. Taking place over a gourmet three-course dinner at the Telford International Centre, special guest Tim Vine, stand-up comedian and star of BBC sitcom ‘Not Going Out’, will present the Awards.

The Awards will provide a unique opportunity for guests to network and build beneficial relationships with their training industry peers, and the leading logistics decision makers for training procurement. Employers can also attend the Awards with their teams to demonstrate their commitment to skills and future talent, or with key customers to reinforce their values and provide meaningful brand experience.
