Volvo Construction Equipment Division uses vehicle tracking to benchmark and monitor SLAs

Cybit, the UK’s leading online Telematics Service Provider, has announced a new Fleetstar implementation for Volvo Construction Equipment Division, Volvo Group UK Ltd – a wholly owned dealership of the global construction equipment manufacturer. Fleetstar now enables Volvo Construction Equipment to react quickly to customer calls, manage its service engineers more effectively and deliver increased quality of service to customers for whom time is of the essence when waiting for an engineer. The contract is for three years, with a further three year option.
Volvo Construction Equipment uses Fleetstar’s customisable reports to establish and monitor benchmarks for its customer SLAs – most of which relate to response times to emergency calls. Fleetstar will also help the company to manage duty of care responsibilities: average speed reports and elimination of telephone communication – by identifying real-time engineer positions on screen – both contribute to a safer working environment for mobile engineers.
