TruTac unveils latest innovations at Microlise Transport Conference

At this year’s Microlise Transport Conference, to be held on May 18th at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, TruTac, one of the UK’s leading logistics software and tachograph analysis providers is presenting its latest range of tachograph hardware, download tools and remote data capture devices for the HGV, PSV and LGV sectors.

Widely regarded as one of the most important events on the road transport calendar, this year’s Microlise conference brings together suppliers and operators from all walks of the industry. Guest speakers include; senior road transport players, Jim Davidson OBE and her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal.

Over 1,000 delegates are expected and the TruTac team will be on hand to demonstrate how its cutting edge software systems can play a vital role to ensure compliance, safety and efficiency for fleet operators in every commercial road transport sector.

“We have just had a very successful three days at this year’s Multi Modal show,” says Jemma James, Commercial Director for TruTac, “where we were able to keep new and existing customers up to speed with our latest products and services. The annual Microlise conference promises to be no less of an occasion and once again we look forward to building new partnership links and demonstrating TruTac’s credentials as a leading provider of security and compliance protection.”

Visitors to the TruTac stand can receive information regarding the following systems:

TruControl – with multi-lingual options

In response to customer demand and in a bid to open up new European opportunities, TruTac will be introducing a new, combined EU and Domestic analysis feature of its market-proven TruControl system: at the ‘click of a button’ operators can now receive instant automated analogue and digital tachograph analysis in newly added language options, including Welsh, French and Polish.

Also new to the TruControl system is a unique e-signature application: designed by TruTac and dubbed, eSignLive, the device captures driver signatures in secure, digital format thus enabling instant online verification for deliveries and driver debriefing.

TruTime – round the clock

For fail-safe clocking of all driver and employees, TruTime is used by operators throughout the commercial vehicle industry. The bespoke time, attendance and HR system is web-based which provides high security, instant access and reduced administration handling.

All employee movements can be analysed and full reports, including absenteeism, employee history, digital tacho card data and real-time attendance can be prepared and conveyed online in a matter of minutes.

TruChecks – vehicle safety without the paperwork

TruChecks is a tried and tested mobile system which allows drivers to complete daily vehicle inspections quickly, accurately and without the need for manual form-filling.

Now available on Android, Apple and Windows operating systems, the new app features enhanced graphics with easier-to-manage functions, which capture all of the information required by VOSA inspectors. The app also provides type-specific and configurable check lists for all vehicles and trailers.

Once a vehicle check has been completed, it is automatically emailed to the office for data storage or remedial action, should it be necessary. Thereafter, checklists can easily be recalled for inspections and workshop maintenance.

TruLicence – driving licence verification online

TruLicence, another industry-proven compliance tool from the TruTac stable, is an online checking and validation service which reduces manual administration and enables companies to demonstrate a “Duty of Care” towards drivers.

Furthermore, TruLicence helps to protect against employees driving without a valid licence and guards against potential litigation in the event of accidents where a driver’s licence is found to be invalid.
