Warehouse logistics company KNAPP initiated growth strategy in Scandinavia

Two years ago Austrian based KNAPP AG acquired the Swedish Moving AB and its subsidiaries Moving ITS A/S in Denmark and Moving AS in Norway. In the past two years we have thoroughly analyzed and clarified the joint potential with regards to our combined competences, products and services, now available to be offered to the Scandinavian market.

Based on this, the KNAPP subsidiaries in Scandinavia have now changed name and external profile to KNAPP-Moving AB in Sweden, KNAPP-Moving AS in Norway and KNAPP-Moving A/S in Denmark. Also the management team of the Scandinavian operation has been changed. Now the management consists of:

Jes Lysdahl Boldsen (CEO)
Anders Jaktman (CFO)
Mikael Sjöberg (COO)

KNAPP AG with HQ in Graz, Austria has local subsidiaries in 26 countries. The group employs more than 1,600 persons worldwide and ranks among the leading system and solution providers in warehouse logistics and warehouse automation. KNAPP-Moving is the global competence center for pallet handling applications within the KNAPP group.

Being fully integrated subsidiaries of KNAPP AG, KNAPP-Moving is now offering its business partners in Scandinavia the most advanced and cost-efficient systems for internal logistics based on a very comprehensive combined product portfolio consisting of a large number of unique state-of the art and patented products such as the OSR shuttle family. The Moving range of products – Midi- and Maximove as well as other specialized components and machines for materials handling – will still be offered to the market under the Moving trade mark.
