If you pre-planning your calendar for 2009 then attending the largest biennial packaging and processing machinery, materials exhibition AUSPACK, is one event you cannot afford to miss.
Held at the Sydney Showgrounds, Sydney Olympic Park, from Tuesday the 16th through to Friday the 19th of June 2009, AUSPACK will have over 200 exhibitors under one roof showcasing over 900 brands.

Fourth time for Markem-Imaje
According to Linda Gleeson, National Business Manager, Markem-Imaje is once again proud to exhibit at AUSPACK.
"2009 will be the fourth time that Markem-Imaje has participated in this prestigious event - formerly exhibiting as Imaje Coding Technology and Unimark." Ms Gleeson said.

Automated inspection with vision....
According to Marc Fimeri, Managing Director, Adept Vision Specialists will be demonstrating the latest technology in machine vision systems for automated inspection in packaging on their stand at AUSPACK 2009.
"Expert vision engineers will be available on our stand to discuss the live demonstrations of high speed label and cap inspection, web inspection and plastics inspection including flash detection" Mr Fimeri said.
"Also on display will be a wide assortment of cameras, lenses and lighting that are used to integrate optimised vision systems for packaging inspection. The systems will feature Dalsa's latest Vision Appliances - embedded vision computers with simultaneous support for multiple cameras. The Vision Appliances are running with either Sherlock or iNspect vision software. New Exhibitor: Bizerba Australia
According to Mr Grant Harpur, National Sales Manager, Bizerba Australia will be exhibiting at AUSPACK 2009 as part of its process to establish the company locally.
"While Bizerba is well known in Europe and North America, we see AUSPACK 2009 as an opportunity to promote our weighing and labelling technologies to the Australasian industry." Mr Harpur said.
"Our exhibit will include GLMI weigh labelling, CWE check weighing, and metal detection equipment. Our participation in AUSPACK 2009 is also an important opportunity to engage prospective customers, while raising awareness of the potential that new Bizerba products have to offer, such as TTI (Time – Temperature Indication) and RFID labels" he said.
