A brand new Marrakech

Company to unveil new corporate branding at eWorld Purchasing & Supply 20 – 21 February 2006, New Connaught Rooms, London. Leading supply chain consultancy and technology solutions provider Marrakech will be unveiling a brand new look at this year's eWorld Purchasing & Supply event.

A proven solutions provider for enterprises of all sizes, Marrakech works with more than 20,000 procurement and supply chain professionals worldwide to transact millions of documents each year. Its customer base includes many well-known retail brands and government agencies, including Tesco and the Identity & Passport Service.

In 2006, Marrakech became a wholly owned subsidiary of AMT-SYBEX. As part of the transfer of ownership Marrakech has undergone a re-branding exercise to align the business more closely to AMT-SYBEX's corporate look and feel, and to ensure its marketing tools reflect the company's expertise and experience in optimising supply chain operations for buy side procurement and supply side Product Information Management.

Marrakech focuses on two main areas of operation:

1. Getting together with Suppliers
Mpro is Marrakech's integrated, end-to-end solutions suite that automates, analyses, and optimises the procurement lifecycle for goods and services. It enables Marrakech to bring together buyers and suppliers to look at how efficiencies can be gained by implementing smart procurement processes for the success of both parties.

2. Getting together with buyers
Marrakech places great importance in providing customers with the right products and service information, giving them accurate data where and when they need it. Using its dedicated Mcel Product Information Management (PIM) suite, Marrakech provides solutions for companies looking to better organise and manage their product information, both for use throughout the enterprise and externally within their markets.

Mike Bramwell, Strategic Director at Marrakech said: “It is an exciting time for Marrakech. We are confident that we have the best solutions available on the market today, and our position is strengthened through our new association with AMT-SYBEX. As the industry specialist in a number of areas including data quality management and mobile working, AMT-SYBEX has great synergies that sit well with Marrakech's unique and highly competitive supply chain offering”.

Continuing he said: “eWorld provides a fantastic platform for us to reveal our new look to the B2B online trading community. It enables us to meet new contacts, and discuss how we can help their business by bringing together buyers and suppliers to work more intelligently, reduce operational costs and add to their bottom line by optimising the flow of goods and services along the supply chain”. –
