Abby Couriers to deliver inspiration for Corringham students

A Basildon-based courier company will be aiming to deliver inspiration to a new cohort of Sixth From students at Gable Hall School in Corringham on Friday 04 September 2009.

Managing Director of Abby Couriers, Mark Giles, said: "This week sees a new cohort of Sixth From students starting their courses at Gable Hall and one of the areas being highlighted for them is how to be entrepreneurs so they can develop ad deliver business ideas.

"I am delighted to have been invited to speak to these young people about the work we have been doing at Abby Couriers as we believe in employing young people both as drivers and at our offices where they are encouraged to gain new skills and qualifications as well as taking responsibility for their own work and personal development.

"It is that commitment to people which has helped Abby Couriers win the Basildon Business Awards and the Essex County Business Awards as without having full commitment from your staff team no company can maximise on its potential for success.

"I hope tat the Sixth From students will realise that they too have talents and skills that companies can use and will work to ensure that they don't waste any opportunities given to them to get involved in the commercial world which is an exciting sand enjoyable environment even during a recession!"

This Business Challenge Event will be led by Enterprise in Education. Programme Manager, Bev McPherson, said: "We invited Mark to inspire our future business leaders with his success story".
