A new recruitment and training company was launched in Basildon this week, which will, according to Director Kevin Harris, bring vital opportunities to both businesses and workers throughout the district.
He said: "Abby Recruitment and Training has been launched to fill a major gap in Basildon’s business community. With more than 25 years’ experience of providing business services, and a vast network of providers across many business sectors, we are uniquely placed to deliver excellent business solutions."
Councillor Andrew Baggott, who officiated at the launch, said, "This is another great example of how Basildon is open for business. Training is vital to a business community like ours, and I am delighted to see this locally-owned company starting up to provide this much-needed service."
Abby Recruitment and Training, based in Luckyn Lane, Basildon, uniquely offers a wide range of services, to all business sectors. Director Marcus Hook explains,
"We want to make it easy for businesses and workers to find all they need in one place, whether it’s training for existing staff or timely, efficient recruitment to keep companies working. We understand the pressures of business life in the current economic climate, and we’re here to help.
"This Saturday, 30 October 2010, the directors will be available at our offices to discuss opportunities with local employers and workers. We’d like to talk to anyone who would like to register for work, in a variety of contracts including driving, hospitality, telesales, IT and business admin. Places will be limited, so we would invite anyone interested to call 01268 330012 to book their place."
