AUTOGLYM OPENS £4 MILLION DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

Car-care product manufacturer Autoglym officially opened its £4 million warehouse and distribution centre in Letchworth on Friday (Jan 25) with a spectacular display of supercars and daredevil stunt driving. After the ribbon was cut by Chief Executive Paul Caller, staff – who had been bussed down from the company's nearby factory in a classic Routemaster – were treated to an exhibition of precision driving by stunt driver Russ Swift, behind the wheel of a Mini.Inside the 46,000 sq ft building was a display of Autoglym-sponsored cars, including a racing Aston Martin DBR9, a WTCC racing Chevrolet saloon, a drift championship Toyota, a racing MGB, and a Pagani Zonda.

"This opening is the culmination of many years progress and hard work by our staff," said Caller. "It is a significant step forward as our UK and world-wide markets expand, and as Autoglym becomes a global brand."
