Barker Ross Logistics launches dedicated driving recruitment team

Barker Ross Logistics has formed a dedicated driving recruitment team, which will be based in its Northampton office on the M1 corridor. The division will sit within Barker Ross Logistics which supplies forklift truck, multi drop, class 1 or 2 drivers, administrators and supervisors.

The driving team will be recruiting for temporary and permanent driving roles, offering an e-training health & safety programme and a dedicated support package for new starters.

As a company with nationwide coverage, Barker Ross Logistics consultants will be able to find the right person for any driving job, with thousands of registered workers on its database.

Simon Gimson, manager of the new driving team
"We have a great deal of expertise in supplying temporary and permanent workers to all industries, but have found there has been increasing demand for drivers from an agency people can trust. So it has been a logical step for us to form this dedicated team. Our dedication to thorough vetting, the fact we put safety first attracts clients and the emphasis we put on candidate care means we have the pick of the drivers."

"Northampton is the best place to run this team out of as the motorway network provides access to logistics and distribution companies along the M1 corridor and is centrally located for the rest of the UK."

Barker Ross offers comprehensive screening procedures so clients can be confident about the staff they are getting, including unique e-training for all temporary workers.
