Best ever year for Isuzu truck sales at T Harvey & Sons Ltd

With 2013 coming to a close shortly, Isuzu Truck’s southwest dealership T Harvey & Sons Ltd reports that it has already broken its record, from last year, for new truck sales, having sold an impressive 118 new trucks in the first 11 months of this year alone.

Following on from last year’s record-breaking achievements, T Harvey’s dealer principal Paul Harvey said; "Originally, we felt that the 108 trucks we sold last year was about as much as we could expect to do in a year, plus this was largely helped by the fact that we successfully negotiated a large single fleet deal. Consequently when it came to planning for this year we set ourselves a sales target of 70 new trucks. However, for us to achieve an even higher level of new truck sales and this time without the benefit of a single major fleet order is really very pleasing. This success reflects our attitude to providing first-class customer service and the undoubted reputation of the product for reliability and durability, together with the growing popularity of the Isuzu truck range in this part of the world."

Family company T Harvey & Sons, with its head office in Redruth, Cornwall, has been an Isuzu truck dealership since 2001. Sales of the Isuzu marque in the southwest continues to grow year-on-year according to Paul Harvey, as he explains; "The Isuzu truck range is perfect for this region, as the size and footprint of the truck is ideally suited to the local road network. We’ve always known that Isuzu products are durable and reliable and when supported by ITUK’s extraordinary customer CARE programme, our customers can be assured that they’ll receive the best possible service levels from us at all times."

In the last two years, Isuzu new truck sales in Cornwall have more than doubled and what pleases T Harvey & Sons is that the growth has come from a broad customer base with new vehicles being sold to both small and large companies alike. "Within the record-breaking total for this year, the largest single order was for just 10 vehicles from a local council, with the balance of the new truck sales being sold to a truly varied mix of local businesses," added Paul Harvey.

Commenting on the achievements of the Redruth dealership, ITUK’s marketing director Keith Child said; "We have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with T Harvey & Sons over many years. They have truly embraced our innovative and unique approach to customer care and this is reflected in the company’s record-breaking truck sales performance this year. It is also testament to the passion, enthusiasm and dedication of the T Harvey customer focussed team."
