Briggs Equipment sole distributor of Yale forklift trucks offer space shuttle ticket at IMHX 2010

Briggs Equipment UK Ltd, Great Britain’s sole national distributor of Yale Materials Handling products will be offering a truly ‘out of the world’ experience to delegates at the forthcoming IMHX Exhibition at the NEC in November.

The company is offering qualifying visitors to its stand the chance to win a place in one of the world’s most exclusive clubs with voucher for a $200,000 ticket for a flight into space aboard Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShip Two.

Several hundred pioneers from around the globe have already signed up to be among the world’s first space tourists, and have become insiders in one of history’s most amazing and inspiring projects.

All future astronauts are involved in the project right from the start and will receive VIP invitations to media events to mark major milestones on the road to commercial spaceflight.

The voucher from Briggs Equipment will be placed in a safe and qualifying entrants have an attempt to guess the six-digit combination number to release the prize.

The competition and exhibiting at IMHX comes as part of a very busy year for Briggs Equipment, a year which has seen them take on the Yale brand and win the prestigious UKWA Award for Innovation and Technology with its highly praised asset management tool, Speedshield.

As Managing Director of Briggs Equipment, Richard Close explained: "The Briggs story has taken a new, more positive direction this year. Our partnership with Yale has bought changes in competition, growth and expansion. Exhibiting at IMHX gives us a great opportunity to communicate Briggs’ bright future; it also enables us to showcase the best in industry innovation and technology."

"The chance to win a flight into space with Virgin Galactic seemed most appropriate as we ourselves aim to reach new heights," he added.
