BT Expedite, the retail solutions division of BT, has scooped Datalogic Mobile's "Award for outstanding Memor Handheld Terminal sales in the UK". The award was presented by Datalogic Mobile Country Manager and accepted by George Mancz, Commercial Director at BT Expedite.
In a short space of time, BT Expedite has deployed over 6,000 Memor mobile devices into a number of the UK's leading retailers for a variety of store system applications such as gap checks, price management, electronic ordering and stock control. The Memor's integral bar code laser scanner and Datalogic's green spot visual scan confirmation system help increase store system productivity and reduce error rates in any scan intensive function. The Memor Wi-Fi also combines a high level specification with a compact, pocketable design, all supplied at an entry level pricing point.
Pike comments: "We are delighted to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of BT Expedite. Their proven retail knowledge, consultancy and project management skills have been a perfect complement to our hardware. As a leading supplier of best of breed retail solutions it is only fitting that BT Expedite has experienced success with one of our most innovative pocket Handheld Terminals. We look forward to continued growth in 2011 not just with the Memor but with our other class leading ranges of Mobile Computers".
Mancz adds: It's a pleasure to accept this award on behalf of BT Expedite in recognition of our work deploying Datalogic's innovative mobile devices. Winning an award and receiving this special acknowledgement for our work makes everyone at BT very proud".
