Burnt Tree Refrigerental wins major industry award in its first year of trading…

Coinciding with the completion of its first year in business, Burnt Tree’s Refrigerental Division was nominated for, and successfully won, the ‘Rental and Contract Hire Company of the Year’ Award at the recent 2014 TCS&D Awards event, held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Warwickshire.

In front of a packed audience representing the temperature controlled storage and distribution sector of the road transport industry, Burnt Tree Refrigerental was successful in fighting off the competition to win this inaugural award for the first time.

According to the event judges, “Despite only being recent entrants into the temperature controlled vehicle rental sector, Burnt Tree Refrigerental has clearly got it right, judging by the large number of their customers who nominated them for their attention to detail and excellent customer service.”

Mark Howell, Refrigerental and Contract Hire Director, and Neil Murphy, Refrigerental General Manager, were presented with this 2014 award by Mark Cartwright from the award category sponsors, The Cartwright Group, assisted by event host, comedian Dominic Holland.

Commenting on the recognition of its success by industry peers, Mark Howell from Burnt Tree Refrigerental said, “The last 12 months has been really busy for the whole business, non-stop from the moment we went live with Refrigerental. We felt that there was definitely big potential for a fresh approach to temperature controlled vehicle rental and contract hire and to receive this accolade at the end of our first year is absolutely incredible. It certainly vindicates the original thinking behind the development of the Refrigerental brand.”

With the launch of Refrigerental, its brand-new temperature controlled vehicle rental and contract hire operation last year, Burnt Tree has found that this fledgling business has gone from strength to strength in its first year of operation. This new national rental organisation has attracted regular ongoing business, not just from existing customers, but also from new customers, including major blue chip organisations.

“Using Burnt Tree’s experienced approach to effective customer service, we have been able to apply the same successful culture within the Refrigerental business, making our no nonsense approach to business really popular with customers,” added Mark Howell.
