As retailers attempt to evaluate many new initiatives, such as contactless and mobile payments or the challenge of data security and compliance, the organisers of Retail Business Technology Expo have launched ‘Cards & Payments Solutions 2011’ in partnership with Vendorcom, the cards and payments community. This dedicated exhibition and conference, will form an integral part of Retail Business Technology Expo 2011.
Cards & Payments Solutions 2011 will provide a platform for the most innovative suppliers to showcase their products and solutions, as well as hosting the first Vendorcom Quarterly Cards & Payments Thought Leadership Conference of 2011, covering the latest topics of interest for the industry as a whole together with a full day of Vendorcom Briefings for retailers.
Nick Field, Event Director, Retail Business Technology Expo, said, "The cards and payments industry presents retailers with opportunities and challenges in equal measure; leveraging their investments in Chip & PIN, deciding on the right course of action on PCI compliance, understanding the potential of encryption and tokenisation, and tackling payment fraud both online and in store. We see Cards & Payments Solutions 2011 as a one stop shop for anyone involved in this area, whether they are experts looking for the latest innovations, or just embarking on their cards and payments journey."
Paul Rodgers, Vendorcom said, "Retail Business Technology Expo is just what the cards and payments industry has been crying out for over the past two years. This show has looked like the meeting place for retailers and solutions providers since it was first launched. That it has now added a dedicated cards and payments exhibition and conference demonstrates the responsiveness of the RBTE team in serving the needs of retail visitors and exhibitors alike."
Retail Business Technology Expo will take place from 16th – 17th March 2011 at London’s Earls Court.
