Cartwright launch new Scottish office

Leading body and trailer manufacturer Cartwright has expanded its UK network of sites with the launch of a new regional office in Coatbridge, Scotland.

Headed by Regional Sales Manager for Scotland, Derek Howie, who joined Cartwright in summer of last year and has a wealth of experience and contacts in the transport industry, the new regional office north of the border will be based on the Rosehall Industrial Estate in Coatbridge on the same site as CEM Scotland Ltd an established maintenance provider for Cartwright.

CEM provide a check-in, check-out service for Cartwright as well as undertaking servicing and repairs for Cartwright products and a mobile van repair service.

Cartwright already has a strong presence in Scotland having about 200 rental trailers in the region as well as operating a network of approved maintenance vendors in virtually every major town and city. Customers include major supermarkets and general hauliers.

Derek Howie said the new regional office, based at 10, Palacecraig Street, Coatbridge is strategically centrally located to service companies in all parts of Scotland.

He explained: "It is the perfect location as it is geographically well placed with links to all major roads and motorways.

"Our aim is to significantly grow the business in Scotland where we believe there is considerable untapped business potential for Cartwright's unique range of products and service."

He continued: "I think the key message to the market in Scotland is that Cartwright can tailor a package to suit every customer's needs.

"It is important to stress that we are not just another trailer rental company here. We are offering the transport and logistics industry in Scotland access to a range of services that have previously been unavailable from a single source.

"We have by far the most attractive and highest quality rental products of any rental company in Scotland and are very confident about the future potential of the business here," he added.
