Cartwright Rentals opens new regional operating centre

The new centre is situated on a 700 acre site at Bruntingthorpe Airfield, Leicestershire, and is the latest operating centre opened by the company, whose HQ is in Altrincham, near Manchester.

In addition to the Leicestershire location, Cartwright Rentals also has locations in Northampton, Avonmouth and Manchester.

John Cartwright, Director of the Cartwright Group, who are celebrating 50 years of manufacture this year, said the geographical location of the new centre at Bruntingthorpe was a strategic location providing extensive cover for the benefit of customers in the Midlands. He said plans were in the pipeline to open two more depots later this year – one in the North East and one in the South East.

Mr Cartwright said customers visiting Bruntingthorpe can benefit from a full range of rental trailers and workshop facilities as well as a wide range of services including full refurbishment, cutting and stacking for export, fleet sales, rental purchase options, part exchange deals and regular auctions at the site.

He said business at the new fully approved sales and remarketing site was already healthy, with demand for trailer rentals starting weeks before the official launch date on April 1st.

He said: "Bruntingthorpe is an excellent place for us to expand our business, allowing us to provide extensive cover for the whole of the Midlands area.

He added: "We are delighted with the response to the new centre so far and look forward to expanding into London later in the year."
