Cartwright to showcase exciting new products at the 2015 Commercial Vehicle Show

Cartwright is launching a record number of exciting new products on its biggest ever stand at this year's Commercial Vehicle Show.

The company, which enjoyed substantial growth across all its main divisions last year, is showcasing four new products for the first time at the CV Show in April (14-16), the culmination of extensive research and development by Cartwright's experienced engineering and design teams, as well as regular feedback from customers in order to meet their future requirements.

The Cartwright stand (No. 3A90) is double the size of last year’s stand and products on show at the event include a Fleet Curtainsider, new aerodynamic home delivery vehicle, new refrigerated trailer and a Welfare vehicle for the construction sector.

The new home delivery vehicle unveiled on the Cartwright stand features a new aerodynamic design with the advantage of an (ultra) lightweight body.

Also being launched on the Cartwright stand for the first time is a new Welfare vehicle, designed particularly for the construction sector. It is capable of 6 + 1 or 7 + 1 configuration and has a built in toilet cubicle and field kitchen.

Two other innovative products being launched by Cartwright at the CV Show and exhibited outside the main exhibition are the new Cartwright Fleet Curtainsider and new refrigerated trailer.

These two exciting products from Cartwright signal the company’s strategy to achieve success in both the haulage and chilled distribution markets.

The Fleet specification single deck Curtainsider has been engineered from the ground up with a new revolutionary design and new specification. It is a clear statement by Cartwright of its intention to make its mark in the highly competitive general haulier market.

Cartwright is anticipating serious interest for its new Fleet Curtainsider which has standard features including an EN-XL rated body, aerodynamic front aerofoil and aerodynamic sloping roof. These standard features coupled with an extremely competitive entry price are expected to generate even more enquiries for Cartwright products at this year’s CV Show.

The other new product expected to attract serious attention at the show is Cartwright’s new Refrigerated Trailer, also exhibited outside the main exhibition hall. This will be available in single and double deck configuration and confirms Cartwright’s commitment to mount a concerted sales effort in the chilled distribution market.

In addition to the four new products being showcased at the show, two existing products from the Cartwright product stable will also be on display on the Cartwright stand.

This includes the 7.5T Rigid with a full aerodynamic package comprising an aerodynamic lined roof and front aerodynamic deflector. Cartwright’s popular Double Deck box van will also be on the stand. The number one choice for many leading parcel carriers, it features a brand new redesigned second deck and is available in a number of configurations.

The Cartwright ambulance will be on display on the Webasto stand (5F121) in Hall 5.

This is a front-line A&E ambulance in use with Yorkshire Ambulance Service and is based upon a Mercedes Sprinter 4.6 tonne super single van option which changes the rear axle from a twin wheel rear axle to a single wheel, allowing more space inside the ambulance and therefore a better solution. The conversion allows for two crew members, one stretchered patient and up to two additional seated patients or passengers.

Cartwright is committed to becoming a major player in the healthcare/NHS sector manufacturing ambulances and ‘blue light’ conversions, utilising its manufacturing experience and expertise including the use of lightweight materials and fuel efficient technology.

Rich Anderson Cartwright’s Sales & Marketing Director commented: “This is our largest ever presence at the CV Show and our most exciting range of new products ever. We are confident they will prove attractive to visitors at the event and we anticipate even greater interest on our stand than at last year’s show.”
