The Annual Logistics Conference held by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK (CILT) in June boasted a star studded line-up of senior managers from the industry’s major third part logistics operators. Conference Chairman Jim Spittle, Vice-President of CILT, suggested that the panel debate team came from companies representing perhaps 70% of the nation’s 3PL capacity.
The group discussed their own experience in meeting the conference theme, ‘Emerging from the Recession’, and responded to a range of questions relating to current and future performance prospects, environmental, economic and employment issues, and operational matters.
