Cheap Trick to headline 2014 Material Handling & Logistics Conference

Dematic, a global supplier of logistics systems for the factory, warehouse and distribution center, announced today that Cheap Trick will perform the band’s classic hits including I Want You to Want Me, Surrender and The Flame at the 2014 Material Handling & Logistics Conference, taking place in Park City, Utah, September 7 to 10.

Cheap Trick has been blending rock hits since the 1970s and will be performing them live under the stars at the Dematic 2014 event on Monday, September 8. They have performed more than 5,000 times, have sold more than 20 million records, and have been recognized by the Chicago Chapter of National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

"This conference not only includes unlimited learning opportunities delivered via a premier supply chain educational curriculum, but also leading entertainment for our attendees," said John Baysore, President and CEO, Dematic North America. "We are excited to punctuate our event with our musical guest, Cheap Trick, and to relive their incredible 35-year legacy while enjoying beautiful Park City."

The 29th annual conference, Hyperformance – Unrivaled Results, will focus on outperformance and education. Learning opportunities for attendees are categorized into six tracks: lead, engage, watch, solve, innovate and operate. Supply chain trends and strategies, warehouse and distribution best practices, and operational insight collaboration are among the topics covered in the program.
