TMAT Ltd, a leading European manufacturer of acoustic components for tractors and excavators, will be welcoming the summer months with an exclusive 'Hello Summer' gathering for employees and their families, which will mark the start of the company's two week summer shut down.
As well as welcoming the summer in style, TMAT has a lot to celebrate. Following the recent recording of the company's first £1 million month TMAT is now one of the most successful manufacturing turnarounds in the region.
The 'Hello Summer' event will be a chance for employees to socialise, and to introduce their family members to colleagues and their place of work. Guests will be treated to a selection of hot roasted pork cobs or cheese and onion pasties, followed by chocolate cake. An onsite ice-cream van will also be available to keep the children happy.
Over the two week summer shut down, the site will be closing for maintenance work and to ensure that everything is in working order before the re-opening.
The factory and offices will be closing for the event, allowing every member of the TMAT team to enjoy the day. The event will take place on the 29th July 2011 and will be held at the company site, Holmewood Industrial Park in Chesterfield.
Jason Lippitt, TMAT MD, says, "The Hello Summer day is a brilliant way to bring the company together, allowing us to express our gratitude to employees for all their hard work over the past couple of years".
"We are pleased to be able to give something back to our employees and their families, and we hope that they will all enjoy celebrating recent achievements and welcoming the summer months with us."
