City Link confirms commitment to major customers with new joint liveried trailer

Leading premium express delivery company City Link has reinforced its ongoing commitment to global giant 3M, with the presentation of a joint liveried trailer.

It is the first time the two companies have operated a joint livered trailer and City Link will use it to showcase 3M’s brand across the UK.

City Link has worked with 3M for over 18 years delivering its total range of products across each of its six operating divisions equating to some 3,000 consignments a week.

The majority of freight is trunked out of 3M’s European Distribution Centre in Bedford for next day delivery to customers through the UK and Ireland region.

Duncan Faithfull, Sales & Marketing Director, City Link said: "3M is one of our longest standing customers and our relationship with them continues to go from strength to strength. This liveried trailer further reinforces our relationship and demonstrates our commitment to maintaining both a successful association and a high standard of service."

Kevin Davies, Freight and Logistics Improvement Manager for 3M commented, "We have a long standing relationship with City Link and our systems and process have grown together in order to meet the needs of our customers. The new trailer with the 3M livery gives us a great opportunity to increase our brand awareness, using our own 3M Scotchprint Graphics materials"
