City Link delivers a winning service

Award-winning courier company, City Link has once again beaten off competition from rivals to receive recognition for its fast and reliable service by winning European Courier Company 2007. Fresh from the RoSPA awards and receiving UK Courier Company 2007, City Link has raised the bar for competitors once again.

Research by the Institute of Transport Management (ITM) into the European courier industry revealed City Link to be performing better than its competitors in the excellent service it provides to customers.

Patrick Sheedy, Media and PR Director for the Institute of Transport Management said "When assessed against its European counterparts City Link's key advantage over its competitor's lies in the strong emphasis they place on the reliability of their service and the satisfaction of their end user. This award is being presented to City Link in recognition of the company's provision of outstanding service to customers from pick-up to delivery."

Michael Cooke, Managing Director of City Link, welcomed the award saying "This award proves our increasing presence within the European courier market and is testament to the consistent high quality service City Link provides to its customers throughout the UK and Europe."

"We are very pleased to receive this award for our dedication to providing the best service possible by placing customer satisfaction at the top of our agenda."

City Link, now the UK's second largest courier company following the acquisition of Target Express, offers a next day delivery service to 25 key European cities from its 93 UK hubs, providing an efficient way for companies to operate to maximum potential.
