Leading telematics and driver behaviour specialist CMS SupaTrak has supported Land Rover in its fundraising efforts for MacMillan Cancer Support.
CMS SupaTrak donated a vehicle tracking device and subscription to the tracking service to a charity auction which was organised to raise money for the good cause. The device and subscription was won by Jonathon McLeen, a member of the Discovery Owner’s Club and all proceeds went to the charity.
The device has now been fitted into Jonathon’s Land Rover, who is planning to use the technology to review his off-roading routes.
SupaTrak vehicle tracking enables users to monitor the location of a vehicle in real time using GPS technology. It ensures that vehicles can be monitored, and the information generated through the system can also help with vehicle recovery if it was stolen.
Commenting on the technology, Jonathon said: "I was happy to support Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in the charity auction. I’m really pleased to have the device fitted so now I can see exactly where I’ve been off roading. Also, I know that my vehicle will be secure."
Jason Airey, Managing Director of CMS SupaTrak commented: "We are always happy to support charitable organisations and we hope Mr McLeen will benefit from his charity auction win."
