Cone Crusher and Terex screens for Earthline from aggregate processing equipment manufacturer Finlay Plant

Earthline has expanded its aggregate processing fleet with the delivery of a Terex Finlay C1540 Cone Crusher and two new Terex Finlay 683 screens from Finlay Plant SW - introduced to enable their Oxfordshire-based quarry to produce greater volumes of high grade material.

The C1540 takes clean limestone over 40mm from an existing Terex Finlay 883 screener on site - which is in turn fed by a Terex Finlay J-1175 jaw crusher - and shapes the material to produce a high value product.

Once processed through the C1540 Cone Crusher, the material is then put through the two new Terex Finlay 683 three-way split screens - producing single size clean products of 40mm, 20mm, 10mm and dust.

Earthline uses the processed material for applications including pipe fill for the utilities sector.

Gareth Johnson, managing director of Finlay Plant SW Ltd, which is part of the Finlay Group of companies, said: "The Terex Finlay C1540 Cone Crusher delivers a clean, valuable product at a high tonnage level and works in unison with the two Terex Finlay 683 screens to deliver the material into the single sizes.

"These three units were chosen for their compatibility with the existing Terex Finlay machinery on site.

"They all work together to get the best possible end product from the quarried material, whilst offering flexible configurations, ease of maintenance and mobility."

One of Finlay Group's largest customers, Earthline already has an extensive range of Terex Finlay washing and aggregate processing equipment on the site, all supplied through Finlay Plant SW.

Matthew Coplestone, a director of Earthline Ltd, which has its headquarters near Marlborough, Wiltshire and specialises in contract earthmoving, landfill facilities and aggregate supplies, said: "We receive great service and back up support from Finlay Plant SW.

"They offer the best package of machinery to operate a waste recycling and quarrying business."
