Contact Attachments has showcased the diverse range of industries its forklift products can be used in, with its recent supply to a specialist valves and actuators company based in Leicester.
The forklift attachments company has provided one of its Low Liner Jibs to Technical Valve Services, specialist suppliers of valves and actuators for the petrochemical, energy and general process industries worldwide, to help streamline its business operations and provide a safer way of loading its products.
Sudhir Jaycee, Production Engineer at Technical Valve Services, explained: “Due to the nature of our business’s operations, we’re required to Fire Test our products on a rig, which can prove challenging due to the lengths of our loads. The Low Liner Jib has made the whole process a lot safer, and allows us to manage different loads with ease. The team at Contact Attachments was extremely helpful and gave us the information and product suited to our precise requirements.”
The Low Liner Jib is one of Contact Attachments’ most popular and inexpensive forklift jibs, and provides longer reach capabilities for products difficult to palletise and from hard-to-access positions. With a fixed beam length of 1,800mm and six different lifting location points for added versatility, the jib is provided with a heel pin retention for enhanced security to the parent forklift truck.
Jason Cadman, Technical Sales Consultant at Contact Attachments, explained: “This is a very popular choice of forklift jib because it’s a very versatile product that can be used across a variety of applications, for businesses of all shapes and sizes. The Low Liner Jib is fully tested and certified to comply with the latest health and safety regulations, so that companies like Technical Valve Services can rest-assured of a quality product that will assist their operations for a long time.”
Contact Attachments has been designing and manufacturing forklift truck attachments from its base in Newtown, Mid Wales, for over 40 years and is recognised as the quality leader of truck attachments in the UK.
