CRM contract awarded to LOGO consult AG

A global contract to supply one of Europe's leading logistics providers with a tailor-made customer relationship management (CRM) system has been awarded to LOGO consult AG of Germany by P&O Ferrymasters.

Mark Mulder, P&O Ferrymasters' Commercial Director, said: “As customers continue, quite rightly, to demand the very best service levels and pro-active and up-to-date supply of management information, P&O Ferrymasters is determined and committed to continually improving its systems and practices to ensure that we remain their preferred logistics and freight management provider.

“We wanted an off-the-shelf CRM solution that could meet the very specific, complex and ever-changing needs of the logistics industry. The fact that LOGO consult's system was developed for and by people in the industry makes it a leading system in the field of CRM systems in the logistics field. In addition LOGO consult could meet our short timescale based on their in-depth implementation and consulting experience and assured us that the system would fit well with our existing operational and financial systems.”

He added: “P&O Ferrymasters will use the new system to become even more proactive in the production of useful reporting data which will add real value to our customers' businesses. It also provides us with a fully transparent and standardised business tool that can be used to systematically analyse our customers' needs to greater effect right across Europe.”
