The Freight Transport Association’s Transport Manager seminars are once again proving popular, with 98 per cent of delegates attending expressing their satisfaction in a customer survey, and 98 per cent stating that they would be likely to attend again in the future.
Feedback from delegates included Lee Jackson of HSS Hire Services, who said of the Traffic Commissioner session: "Enlightening hour, very stimulating, helped focus the mind on key practices,", and Sam Barnes from Hertz, who commented: "It’s important for Hertz to attend the FTA Transport Manager seminar, as it keeps us up-to-date with all the legislation and compliance."
The customer survey results showed that the key address from the local Traffic Commissioner and fuel efficiency are two of the most popular sessions on the seminar programme.
The ‘hour with your Traffic Commissioner’ at the Warrington seminar was hosted by Senior Traffic Commissioner Beverley Bell, who said: "This is the one date on my calendar that I, along with all the other Traffic Commissioners, make sure we can attend. It’s vital that we can engage with the transport managers and do what we can to help them in their role."
The Warrington Transport Manager seminar was filmed by FTA, illustrating the diversity of the events and the film can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyqIyFcyOro&feature=plcp
