Three speakers will debate the above topic which as well as sustainability will consider the implications of public spending cuts and delayed infrastructure investment following on from a major recession on the logistics and transport industries. An academic speaker will set the scene and provide some hard statistical information and speakers from the passenger transport and logistics industry will consider the issues from their industries' business point of view.


The event will be chaired by Dr. Martin Howarth, Head of Engineering and Mathematics Department, Sheffield Hallam University.
