The Fork Lift Truck Association FLTA has confirmed that organisational safety specialist Dr Tim Marsh will join the lift truck safety conversation at the FLTA’s 15th annual National Forklift Safety Convention.
Dr Marsh, the founder of Ryder Marsh Safety and managing director of Anker & Marsh, is just one of an inspiring line up of thought leaders presenting at the Heart of England Events and Conference Centre on Wednesday 3rd October.
A specialist in organisational safety, as well as a Chartered Psychologist and acclaimed public speaker, Tim’s in-depth understanding of workforce behaviour has made him a critical voice in the health and safety space.
FLTA chief executive Peter Harvey MBE believes that Dr Marsh’s keynote address could be a watershed moment in the event’s 15-year history.
He explains: “Dr Marsh is a world authority on behavioural safety, safety leadership and organisation culture… and we couldn’t be happier to have him join the conversation this October.
“Having been involved with the early research into behavioural safety – more than two decades ago, he not only understands the problem but its solution, too.
“As a result, he’s an incredibly engaging , grounded and assertive speaker. I am confident that our delegates will sit up, take notice and walk away to re-evaluate their views on safety culture.
“It will be an unmissable talk for fork lift managers and supervisors alike, and I am sure it will be one that people talk about for a long time to come.”
Now in its 15th year, the Convention will take place on 3rd October 2018 at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in Coventry.
The one-day event, is sponsored by Toyota Material Handling UK and produced in association with SHD Logistics.
Responding to popular demand, this year’s event will feature an expanded forklift safety exhibition showcasing lifesaving products and services.
Tickets are priced at £130 for Members and £180 for Non-Members.
