What an autumn it's been for Transline-Resource in Scotland. After steady growth in the early part of the year, the driving & industrial recruiter has just secured four new bumper Scottish contracts in as many months.
The largest of which, being with Somerfield where its industrial arm, Resource will be supplying a further 25 warehouse staff daily. And almost as big as that are the contracts with Palmer & Harvey, Norfolkline and its newest addition, Wincanton Morrisons, which could grow to become its biggest Scottish contract.
Chosen to co-ordinate the operations is Bathgate resident and Transline-Resource Consultant, Robert Harris who was a driving force behind these acquisitions and is delighted with the outcome.
"The last few months have been hectic but I'm very happy to see clients are recognising our hard work and the business is growing," said Robert. "We are currently recruiting and training industrial staff to cater for the increased demand and from what I've seen the candidates are exceptional."
"The reason we won these contracts, especially with regards to Morrisons, is because of our commitment to service, which I believe to be second to none in the marketplace, added to some very competitive supply rates. We are always more than happy to provide operational benefits such as assistance with team inductions and the provision of manual handling training, to name but a few."
With a background in logistics, Robert joined Transline-Resource in June 2008 and, after two years working on the company's Scottish driving desk, he moved into the industrial sector, where his in depth knowledge of warehousing is proving invaluable in the company's expansion.
Transline-Resource Director, Mark Elms said: "Four new contracts in such a short period is testament to our growing reputation in Scotland for providing flexible and effective staffing solutions. Robert has been a fundamental part of this success and I'm confident that it will continue with him at the helm."
The Transline-Resource Recruitment Group has been operating in Scotland for over 10 years. Today, it supplies over 150 drivers and 200 warehouse operatives a day to some of Scotland's biggest household name retailers and distributors.
