DS Smith Recycling sign agreement with Qurius to provide business management software

Qurius UK has announced that it has today signed an agreement with DS Smith Recycling (formerly known as Severnside Recycling) to provide them with its Enwis (formerly known as Regenerist) business management software solution. The product, based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, is specially designed for the waste and recycling industry.

DS Smith Recycling, an integral part of DS Smith PLC, is a market leading integrated recycling and waste management company delivering solutions to organisations across the UK. It is the largest UK fibre recycler and one of the UK’s leading recycling and waste management companies, recovering around 1.9 million tonnes of material annually. In addition to this, DS Smith Recycling diverts around 250,000 tonnes of waste otherwise landfill bound to alternative technologies.

"This is a ground breaking deal, both for Qurius and the waste and recycling industry as a whole," claims Jason Fazackerley, Director of Qurius UK. "To gain the confidence and trust of one of the industry’s largest organisations is a strong positive message to the whole market that Qurius has the right products coupled with advance service, support and deployment capabilities. We expect this deal to be the catalyst for similar successes over the coming months and years."

Peter McGuinness, MD of DS Smith Recycling, comments, "We are always striving to exceed the expectations of our customers and we identified that a new integrated business systems application would enable us to do exactly that. We carried out an exhaustive selection process, of both application and supplier options, before agreeing to partner with Qurius. The implementation of this solution is a major priority for our organisation and one that will help us grow and develop profitably. We felt that in Enwis, Qurius has a product that is the right fit for our business as well as the resources and expertise to support our business going forward. We very much look forward to working with the team."

Matt Eckersall of Microsoft UK also adds, "We are delighted that Qurius UK has managed to demonstrate its credentials in such a positive and successful manner. Enwis is a market leader in waste and recycling business systems software and this deal has shown the company also has the right people with the right skills to support major implementations."

Enwis is the most advanced software solution for the Recycling and Waste Management sector. Based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and built by experts from the industry, the wider Enwis offering is a complete ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software solution comprising of accounts, sales, purchases, contract management, waste tracking and analysis, fleet management, equipment hire and human resource management in a single integrated system.
