easyFairs launch new show Materials Handling 2011 for materials handling supply chain

easyFairs, the leading exhibition organiser, is bringing its unique brand of time and cost-effective trade shows to the world of materials handling. The company is launching easyFairs MATERIALS HANDLING 2011, a brand new show focused on the complete materials handling supply-chain.

easyFairs MATERIALS HANDLING 2011 which takes place on 30 & 31 March 2011 at Birmingham’s NEC is the perfect show for all those working in the Logistics, Distribution and Supply-chain functions through to Operations, Plant and Production managers.

Already the new show has attracted a host of partners including ALEM, AHMSA and SEMA, all of whom have been attracted by easyFairs’ professionalism and business model. Graham Watts from AMHSA comments: "The easyFairs concept of effective, low-cost business focused events which are easy to set up are just what AMHSA members have been looking for."

"Definitely," adds Tim Faithful from ALEM, who are also supporting the new show: "ALEM supports this smaller, highly targeted exhibition that covers the entire Materials Handling industry, making it well suited for our members. We are delighted that the organisers are helping the industry by offering value for money exhibiting for our members, making easyFairs® MATERIALS HANDLING a low-cost, focused event for all."

The easyFairs model is a fixed ‘all in’ budget with no hidden expenses or last minute surprises. Training is part of the exhibiting package and companies signing up early can maximise their investment, accessing complimentary shows services including PR and personalised telephone campaigns inviting their prospects to their stand at the show. As such it is perfect for companies looking to build sales but who still need to keep their costs in check.

A number of companies have already been quick to sign up for the new show, including Mike Prince, Managing Director at Advanced Handling, who says: "It’s about time our industry had an honest ‘sales event’ that doesn’t cost the earth."

"I agree," adds Andrew Georgiou, Stertil UK Ltd’s General Manager, who will also be exhibiting. "StertilUK has been waiting for a true sales event in our sector that puts all suppliers on an equal footing. We are delighted that easyFairs MATERIALS HANDLING has been launched."

In addition to showcasing an array of partners and exhibitors, easyFairs MATERIALS HANDLING 2011 will also feature learnShop seminars and a mix of show floor features.

Managing Director of easyFairs UK & Ireland, Matt Benyon comments: "In this day and age no one launches a trade show lightly, but our in depth research within the materials handling industry, told us that an annual show was needed. But they didn’t want just any show. They wanted one that was nimble, efficient, cost effective and focused – for us that meant it had to be an easyFairs show."

The show will be co-located with easyFairs MAINTEC 2011 – the UK’s only event dedicated to the maintenance and asset management sectors, which attracted 1,632 visitors this year, has been running for over 35 years, and is the absolute bedrock of the maintenance calendar.
