ECS goods lift pass Century landmark

Installation of a Gebhardt goods lift at Dedicated Micros of Swinton, Greater Manchester, takes the total number installed by European Conveyor Systems past the 100 mark, including five in the last few months in the North of England alone.

In addition to this project, ECS has also installed this type of equipment recently for Dynea in County Durham, Ethel Austin in Merseyside, Printing.com in Manchester and Lex Automation in Lancashire.

The lifts installed for these customers range in load capacity from one tonne to two tonnes and in size from 1200mm wide x 1060mm deep x 2000mm high to 2600mm wide x 2660mm deep x 2500mm high. Gebhardt offers a number of other sizes and load capacities, accessories such as interior lights and safety light curtains in the car entrance, and models suitable for personnel.

The Gebhardt Type 146 lifts are fully free-standing and self-contained, requiring no civil engineering work or welding. Several more orders are in the pipeline for installation this year, as well as major projects for the company's core business: conveyor systems for handling pallets, cases and tote boxes.
