Europe’s largest trade exhibition for the fastener and fixing industry opens its doors

From 22-24 February 2011 halls 4,6 and 8 at the Messe Stuttgart exhibition grounds will be the international meeting point for distributors, suppliers, engineers, specifiers and industry experts for fastener and fixing technology. With 670 exhibitors from 40 countries and a net exhibition space of 12,500 m2 this year’s edition of Fastener Fair Stuttgart is bigger than ever.

"As the global economy shows clear signs of recovery and the economic outlook is cautiously optimistic again, this year’s Fastener Fair Stuttgart is more than ever an important indicator of the global market situation of this industry sector. The event is the ideal market place for gaining an overview of the latest technologies and trends", says Susanne Rauberger, Exhibition Director Fastener Fair Stuttgart, on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

"Cost efficiency, enhanced productivity, rising costs of raw material and energy as well as intelligent logistics supply chains are currently major challenges for this industry sector that is situated in a highly competitive global market. However, the current situation does also offer new possibilities, and many companies now set the course for the future; they develop their market position, enhance their networks and source the right equipment to be able to adapt to changing demand", explains Susanne Rauberger.

Innovative products and intelligent solutions are therefore a major focus at many stands of Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2011. This year’s competition "Route to Fastener Innovation" clearly points out all the stands where visitors can discover innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies.

The supply chain for fasteners and fixings is traditionally a global one. Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2011 is therefore a highly international event. After Germany, with more than 150 companies the largest exhibitor country, and Italy with more than 100 exhibitors, Asian countries as well as Great Britain, the Netherlands, Turkey, France and Spain are well represented at the show.

The exhibition profile covers a comprehensive range of products and services, including industrial fasteners and fixings, construction fixings, assembly and installation systems, fastener manufacturing technology as well as storage and logistics services.
