Exmac Automation has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Harry Chan as Business Development Manager

Exmac Automation has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Harry Chan as Business Development Manager, with a brief to help the Droitwich-based company further develop its position as the leading British conveying and material handling specialists.

With a background in electrical and control engineering and hands-on experience of both project management and design roles, Harry is keen to build on Exmac’s current successes in the automotive and aerospace industry while developing a strong presence in the logistics, food and nuclear sectors.

Harry joins Exmac from Savoye Ltd, a leading European provider of warehouse automation solutions; and is currently studying for a BSc in Software Design to complement his existing mechanical and electronic engineering qualifications.

Welcoming Harry to the team, Exmac managing director Gary Sweeney says that with a new purpose-designed facility just open and turnover doubled in 2011 this is an exciting and challenging time to be joining the business.
